Villa Sivakka is close to the Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park, which offers its travelers fresh water and the cleanest air in the world, as well as the peace of Lapland. Villa Sivakka is a short drive away from three ski resorts - Ylläs, Pallas and Levi. The new main building, designed by architect Lauri Louekari completed in 2015, has an area of 51 m2 and can accommodate up to seven people. The cabin includes two alcoves with 140cm pair beds. The other alcove includes an upper bed that fits one person. In addition there is a mezzanine which sleeps two people. The old cottage by the lake was built in 1978, renovated in 2017 and includes a large wooden sauna. The sauna building has sleeping accommodation for two. Villa Sivakka is best suited for 1-2 couples, a family or a small group of friends. In winter, you can enjoy cross-country skiing or snowshoeing on the lake and in the woods. If the time is right, you can see the northern lights on the lake and watch them from the large windows in the living room. In the evening, you can heat the sauna and, for example, soak in the snow and jump into the clear lake water.
