Tahko Hills

Tahko Hills, a modern cottage complex of 10 cottages 139 m² and 160 m², is a wonderful resort near the services of the Tahko area. It takes less than one hour to drive there from Kuopio and there are also the services of Nilsiä on the way, 12 km from the resort. Modernly equipped and cozily decorated villas can be an accommodation for 8 guests and 2 extra beds can be added to host up to 10 guests. A few category cottages can be upgraded and you will enjoy bathing in a hot tub on the fresh air installed on the terrace of your cottage. The first floor bedroom and one second floor bedroom have double beds and two second floor bedrooms have two single beds. The kitchen of the villa is spacious and a fireplace warms you up in the living room. On the each floor, there are showers and WC and an electric sauna on the first floor with an entrance to terrace. In cottages 160 m² there is one more private WC in the master bedroom on the second floor. Amazing lake views from the villa awaits for you! On the private beach you will find an own pier with boats with an electric motor. In addition to, you will find a grill hut for delicious dinner. Children can spend time on the playground. The play and sport equipment are available for free. The nature of Tahko is a beautiful place for outdoor activities and there are also good fishing spots. The villa is at a perfect location for a ski or golf vacation since Tahko Ski Resort is 0.8 km away by car and the nearest golf club is located 1.6 km away from the villa. There is also a cross-country ski track and a snowmobile route near the villa. All kind of facilities are located in Tahko: different restaurants, après-ski parties, SPA centres. A lot of events are held during the whole year in Tahko such as ski week, Business Slalom, Extreme Run Tahko, Juhannus, Tahko Water crossing, MTB and Oktoberfest. Some international events took place in Tahko like World Orienteering Championship or Ironman.
