Villa Airanne

The stylish and new Villa Airanne is situated in a peaceful location on the shore of Lake Vesankajärvi, just 10 minutes away from Jyväskylä by car. The property has a wonderful main log villa which will be completed in December 2023, a newly renovated beach cabin, and a beach sauna. There is a hot tub on the outside of the beach sauna that fits 8 people from which you can admire the beautiful lake view. The main villa of Villa Airanne accommodates ten guests, but for an additional fee you have two beds in the beach cabin and two beds in the beach sauna i.e. a total of beds for 14 guests. There is a large terrace that continues all the way to the beach sauna. All the buildings have electricity, a fast WIFI connection, and heating. The main cottage has ecological water-circulating floor heating, an air-source heat pump for cooling and YALE Linus smart locks, and radiators. The main villa and sauna water supply comes from a new well. Additionally, the beach sauna has a toiler.. The sauna is equipped with a new Harvia Green Legend wooden stove, an integrated pot for heating water with a separate hot water tap, and a cold water bidet.. There is also a Sunny 40 outdoor shower that operates with solar-heating. The shower is only for summer use. During the summer season it's possible to rent paddle boards, and during the winter season you can rent winter snowshoes. Things to do at or near the cottage: A skilled masseuse is a few minutes' drive away. You can also order a masseuse, an energy therapist or even a Yoga instructor to the cottage. The city of Jyväskylä is only a 10 minutes drive away where you can find several nice restaurants, an adventure park, a spa and even the ski slope Laajavuori. Himos is about a 40 minutes drive away. There are nice walking/hiking routes and shelters nearby, e.g. there is an island one kilometer away from the cabin which you can access with a boat, by snorkeling, snowshoeing, skating or by skiing. The island has a shallow sandy beach and a barbeque area (firewood ready). During the winter season there is a 5 km ice road that goes to the island from Vesanga. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The price of the hot tub includes a reasonable amount of firewood (also includes firewood for the villa and sauna). Pets are allowed in the villa by separate arrangement (pets are not allowed in the bedroom of the beach sauna and the beach cabin). When booking the villa, please tell us the purpose of your stay, and for which group you are renting the villa; the cottage is not rented for ”wet parties” .
