Villa Hirvikangas

A beautiful lakeside villa right on the shore of Lake Kivijärvi in ​​Ähtäri. This beautifully decorated villa is well suited for a year-round vacation. The three-bedroom villa accommodates a total of eight people. On the ground floor of the two-story villa, there are two bedrooms, an open and modern kitchen-living room-dining area, where guests can spend time admiring the beautiful lake view from the large windows and, in cooler weather, enjoy the warmth and atmosphere of the fireplace. There is also a toilet downstairs. When you come upstairs, you will find a cozy lounge where you can relax on the couch and watch TV. Next to the living room there are additional sleeping places for four people. The air heat pump in the space brings cooling to the villa during the summer heat. The sauna building next to the villa is easily accessible via the terrace and from there you can find a dressing room, a bathroom and a wood-heated sauna. From the outside you can find a 250 square meter terrace area stretching from the villa down to the beach. On the covered terrace next to the villa you can find outdoor dining table for eight people and a gas grill for some summer grilling. On the beach there is a smaller dining area and an outdoor bath tub that is rented separately. During the summertime you can easily go swimming from the beach, or fishing with with a rowing boat or go Sup-boarding (both of which can be rented). The beach has a gradually deepening sandy bottom which makes it child-friendly. In both summer and winter, there are activities in the area, such as the popular Arpainen nature trail/nature reserve, which is located about seven kilometers away and where you can fry sausages and enjoy the glow of a campfire by the huts along the route. For those heading to Ähtäri Zoo, the trip to the popular destination takes about thirty minutes. It is also possible for guests to rent a Touring snowmobile in the winter for their own use - the snowmobile is available for daily rent. Pets are allowed on a case-by-case basis, always ask in advance.
