Villa Lake Ruka

Lake Ruka is a high-quality log villa completed in 2023 on the shore of Lake Vuosselijärvi in Kuusamo. You can admire an unobstructed lake view from the villa's large landscape windows and terrace. The stylish villa meets international standards and offers top-class facilities for 4-6 people for luxurious leisure time all year round. When designing the villa, the owners wanted to bring Scandinavian decor and earthy color scheme to the interior design; every detail has been carefully considered to fit with the landscape. On the first floor of the villa, there is a modern, well-equipped open kitchen, connected to a large dining table and a living room. The living room has a wonderful fireplace that creates nice atmosphere to the space. This floor also has a sauna and bathroom, two double bedrooms and a toilet. Ladder-like stairs lead to the loft of the villa, where there are two single beds and a window that creates light in the space; the loft has its own TV. The villa includes luxurious pillows and blankets made of 100% Finlayson certified down, high-quality satin sheets and soft hand and bath towels. Duckboards lead to the shore where you can find a swimming dock and a rowing boat for the tenants’ use. During the summer, there is also a fire pit on the beach, from where you can admire the beautiful lake scenery and sunsets of Vuosseli from the high cliffs, or have a picnic right by the water. You can fish on Lake Vuosselinjärvi all year round. During the summer, you can fish from the pier or take the boat out on the lake. In the winter, you can go ice fishing on the ice. There is a wide range of outdoor activities available in the surrounding area, both in the winter and in the summer. A cross-country ski trail runs at a distance of about 400m, and snowmobile trails are easily accessible from the villa. The ski slopes of East Ruka are about 3km from the villa. At the slopes you can find gondola lifts and ski rental.
