Villa Makia

VIlla Makia is a very high-quality 135m2 detached cottage completed in 2023 in the Röhkömukanmaa area near Yllästunturi, with wonderful views of the fells, at the end of a street that ends in a quiet location. The cottage accommodates 8+2 guests and has high-quality equipment and interior. Villa Makia guarantees a successful holiday even for the most demanding customer. Final cleaning, linen (bed linen already made for the beds of your choice and a face towel and a bath towel) and firewood are included in the rental price. Two lift tickets are included in the rental price! During high season the rental time is minimum one week and the check-in day is Sunday. You can ask the possibility for shorter and longer visits. New in 2024: Lappish hut at your own yard! Imagine siting on warm reindeer hides, around the open fire preparing a delicious meal on the flames! The cabin's premises on two floors are spacious and elegantly furnished. On the ground floor of Villa Makia, you will find a fully equipped, modern kitchen, dining room and living room, with a wonderful view from the large windows. Master bedroom with a double bed and another bedroom with two single beds are located also in the ground floor. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, each with two single beds and the lounge with futon sofa. There are desktops in three bedrooms which enables e.g. remote work with high speed internet (Wi-Fi, broad band connection). All bedrooms are equipped with black out blinds which makes sleeping easy also at nightless nights in summer time. Separate toilets both in downstairs and in upstairs. The luxurious sauna and shower facilities on the lower floor crown the whole. There you have also another drying cabinet for sportswear. For parking there is place for two cars with heating possibility and charging station for electric cars. Ylläs is the biggest ski resort in Finland. In the winter season two lift tickets are included in the rental price of the cabin (value of these tickets are 500 €/ week). Tickets are valid both Ylläs Ski Resort Äkäslompolo and Ylläsjärvi. Nearest lift station is 1,4 km from the cabin. Villa Makia has paid the route fee for Ylläs skitrails, so during your stay you can freely enjoy the most wonderful cross country skiing trails in Finland. National park Pallas- Yllästunturi offers great nature experiences year round. Yllästunturi Visitor Centre Kellokas is a holiday must for every visitor to Ylläs. Customer service will guide you to the attractions of Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park and its finest hiking trails. A visit to the The free exhibition at the Visitor Centre introduces visitors to local nature and culture. At Visitor Centre Kellokas there is also nearest restaurant, rental bike office and movie theatre. From cabin to Kellokas is 700 m walk, 1 km by car.
