"We are a family of four from the UK, Claire and Mark and our twins of 15, Tom and Emily. We stayed at Villa Joutsenrinne for nine days in August, and it was absolutely fantastic! We loved this villa as it is in the wilderness, but also close to resort facilities in Ruka, and not far from the town of Kuusamo. Basically there is so much to do; we went fat biking in Ruka, and then golfing in Kuusamo, and went on a couple of hikes to the numerous beauty spots in the area. This is our favourite region of Finland, its wild and spectacular. However, best for us was the lake. The villa comes with its own lake frontage at the bottom of a steep set of steps and is complete with a wooden jetty. We all had great fun, and spent full days diving and swimming in the lake, kayaking and fishing, or just sunbathing in the gorgeous weather we were lucky enough to have. Inside and outside the villa, the owner, Jukka, really makes sure that there is everything you could need here for a fantastic holiday. We were sad to leave, but we will be back... for sure!"

"We hebben zijn Februari 2024 totaal 10 dagen verbleven in Villa Joutsenrinne. Dit was de 2e keer dat we in het huis verbleven. We hadden op het begin wat kleinigheden. Deze kleinigheden had Jukka snel en voortreffelijk opgelost. Jukka reageert super snel op mijn vragen en opmerkingen. Het vakantiehuis staat in een zeer rustige omgeving. Het huis ligt aan een doodlopende straat waar bijna geen verkeer rijdt. De sleeheuvel bij het huis is geweldig. In de schuur staan verschillende sledes klaar om mee te spelen en te glijden. Het huis heeft 2 volwaardige slaapkamers met in totaal 4 uitstekende bedden. Ook is er een open-vide met nog meer slaapplaatsen. Op de vide staan ook diverse (bord)spellen. De keuken is goed uitgerust en biedt alles wat je nodig hebt. Het huis ligt dichtbij de skipistes en overige voorzieningen (ongeveer 10 minuten rijden met de auto). De wegen naar het huis en de oprit van het huis zelf worden goed onderhouden door de sneeuwschuivers. Het is een gezellig huis en we hadden er een geweldige tijd. Tot de volgende keer!"

Olohuoneesta löytyy projektori ja valkokangas, jolla oli mukava katsella elokuva viimeisenä iltana. Vajasta löytyy kaikki tarvittava ulkoaktiviteetteja varten. Suosittelen kaikille, jotka haluavat nauttia hyvästä mökistä Rukan luonnossa."
