Villa Valtava

Villa Valtava is a modern and well-equipped villa north of Ruka, in the wonderful landscapes of Valtavaara and Konttainen fells. The building is located in a quiet location, secluded by forests, on a private plot bordering Lake Ala-Pessari, but still close to Ruka Ski Resort activities. The outdoor trails in Konttainen and Valtavaara are 2 km away, and the ski slopes, restaurants and shops are less than 10 km by car. The place is ideal for families and groups of friends who want to enjoy their own peace. The building is bright and nature with its different seasons floods in from the large windows. From the main bedroom window you can enjoy beautiful views of Valtavaara fell. The cottage has a total of 6+4 beds. Bedrooms 3pcs; main bedroom with a double bed, second bedroom 2pcs 80x200 beds that can be put together or apart. The third bedroom has 2 bunk beds, one of which is of normal size, the other 80x170 cm (suits for children under 150 cm of length). The sauna lounge has a sofa bed 140x190 cm (extra bed). In addition, a baby travel cot. The villa has extensive amenities such as: electric car charging station 11kW, bobsleds, sledges, 3 person canoe and float vests for 4 persons, SUP board, snowshoes (three for adults and one for children), 2 pairs of backcountry skin-based skis, board games, toys, children's books and yard games. Full-size and fully equipped kitchen has an Iittala tableware set for 12 people, a full range of dry ingredients and spices waiting for the chef. After a day of outdoor activities, enjoy the warmth of the fireplace, watch your favourite series on Netflix or relax in the wood-fired sauna and outdoor hot tub. In summer, the partially glazed terrace has a sofa set, a dining table and chairs for 6, sun loungers, a hammock and a gas barbecue. There are two fire pits in the yard, and a swimming pier. During the winter season, the price includes two ski passes to Ruka and Pyhä Ski Resorts. They are valid at all lifts, and tickets can be used by several people on the same day alternately. With the ticket, pedestrians can also travel between the east and west sides of Ruka by gondola. Tickets also provide access to the Stiga racing during evenings and Ruka Coaster mountain roller coaster. Your value is up to €520/week (2 x adult 6-day tickets). During the summer season (from around June 10th until the end of September), the price includes two Ruka Vauhti wristbands, and the user of this ticket can also change during the day. The wristbands give you unlimited access to the Ruka Coaster mountain roller coaster, Ruka Rally downhill cars, summer sled track, scenic lifts, zipline, mini golf and Bike Park, you can rent frisbee golf discs for two different courses for free, and the wristband also gives you a discount on bike rental. The benefit is worth 49 e/day/wristband. Prices include final cleaning, use of the outdoor hot tub and unlimited use of firewood. Bed linen are included in weekly rentals, for shorter rental periods for extra change. Pets and indoor smoking are not allowed at the cottage. However, the cottage is not completely allergy free, the cottage is occasionally visited by a cat from the owner family. As a rule, we rent for weeks, shorter bookings are accepted and priced according to demand.
