Welcome to Kalajoki Hiekkasärkät to spend time and have fun in the marine environment with family and friends. The area's diverse services and activities guarantee a successful holiday, no matter what time of year it is, summer, autumn, spring or winter. There are always many things to do for children and also meaningful things for adults. In the summer you can have a picnic day on the beach, get to know the history of Kalajoki in the old town of Plassi, visit the JukuPark water park, go climbing at the Pakka adventure park, go karting on the Safaritalo track, play golf on the greens of Hiekkasärkät Golf, go hiking on the Siiponjoki nature trails, play frisbee golf, spend time at the nearby spa SaniFan swimming and sauna or even go roller skiing along the Hiekkasärkät cycle paths. There are 2 pairs of roller skis, (bindings NNN) and poles in the outdoor storage room, which are available for customers to use. Ski boots and other equipment related to various hobbies can be rented from Safaritalo if necessary. There are 2 bicycles and helmets at the cottage. There are some various yard games in the outdoor storage. In winter, you can access the ski track directly from the cottage without having to drive. The nearest illuminated track is about 150 m from the cottage. There is also a Viitapakat lean-to hut nearby where you can enjoy your own snacks and grill sausages while skiing. The Kalajoki city takes care of the maintenance of the tracks and they are usually in good condition, as long as there has been enough snow. The track network runs from Hiekkasärkät to the Junkkaries Ski Resort in Kalajoki. There are tracks built from artificial snow stored in the bank even when there is not enough natural snow, yet when the winter season arrives. The holiday home is located near the golf course, the distance to the green is about 300 meters directly from the cottage. The cottage has a versatile kitchen-living room and plenty of cooking equipment. There is a washing machine in the laundry room for equipment maintenance and a drying cabinet in the dressing room. There is a fire pit with log benches in the front yard. You can grill over the fire of the concrete masonry barbecue while chatting, or even fish with a fish net. There is a fish net and sausage sticks in the outdoor storage room. The warmth of the stone fireplace and the blazing flames of burning logs create an atmosphere for the darkening evenings of autumn and winter. Birch firewood is always included in the rental price. The car can be parked under the shelter of the carport during vacation and the outdoor storage room can be used to store the customer's own hobby equipment. The larger bedroom downstairs has beds for 2 people and the smaller bedroom for 1 person. There are beds for 3 people upstairs. All beds are 800 mm wide frame beds with mattress pads. Pillows and blankets are included in the rental price. Sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers and towels can be ordered at the time of booking for an additional fee of 15 €/person or you can bring your own. * NOTE!
