✨ Premium Villa on Norrskata Island in Korppoo – Island Life by the Sea Welcome to enjoy island life on Norrskata Island in Korppoo! The best thing about us is the incredibly beautiful, unobstructed sea view, but the cozy villa with its traditional-paned windows is also a place where you are sure to enjoy yourself. The large kitchen island has room for even a bigger group to cook together, and the living room has enough space for the whole family to sit and spend the evening. If you have musical skills, you can even organize a concert here, as there is a beautifully sounding Japanese concert grand piano in the corner of the living room. ✨ Bedrooms Choosing a bedroom may be difficult, as each one is different. Downstairs there is a green and a beige room, while upstairs there is a blue and a green room. Each room has a 90 cm Familon Pro hotel bed with a 10 cm thick mattress topper. The beds are firm and the mattress topper is soft. Do you need a baby cot? That can be arranged, as can other equipment for small children, such as a high chair. The green bedroom downstairs has two beds, two wardrobes for guests to use, a round table in the corner, a footstool, bedside tables and bedside lights. The beige bedroom has two beds, an antique wardrobe, an armchair, bedside tables and bedside lights. The blue bedroom upstairs has two 90 cm beds and one extendable bed with a maximum length of 200 cm. The room also has a wardrobe and a small desk. The green room upstairs has a 180 cm double bed, a desk and chair, an armchair, a clothes rack and a door leading to the upstairs balcony. ✨ Living Room and Kitchen Downstairs The well-equipped kitchen downstairs has a full set of tableware, crystal glasses for a slightly more special breakfast or dinner setting, a good selection of pots and frying pans, as well as other cooking equipment. The L-shaped kitchen has a large island with an induction hob. The kitchen and living room have everything needed for cooking and spending time together. The living room has a large dining table for 10 people, a corner sofa and a rocking chair. The room also has WiFi (modem), a bread oven and fireplace, as well as a sandwich grill and waffle maker. The kitchen has a full-size refrigerator and a small freezer under the counter. The kitchen corner cabinet has a LeMans mechanism for pots and frying pans. There is plenty of tableware for a setting for 10 people, as well as everyday glasses and crystal glasses for celebrations or a slightly more special table setting. The kitchen is also equipped with an electric hand mixer, hand blender, toaster, coffee maker and kettle. There is a door from the living room to the downstairs terrace. The terrace has a small table and four chairs, as well as a hook for a hanging chair. The terrace also has a Weber gas grill and a Muurikka smoker. ✨ Living Room and Tea Room Upstairs The upstairs living room and tea room have a sofa, a 65” Panasonic TV, a TV stand, two Parola rattan rocking chairs and two coffee tables. You can watch, for example, Netflix on the TV using your own credentials. The upstairs balcony has balcony furniture consisting of a sofa, a table and two chairs. There is also a hook for a hammock or hanging chair. ✨ Bathrooms and Electric Sauna Downstairs there is a utility room, bathroom and sauna. The electric sauna accommodates 5–6 people, and the bathroom has a rainfall shower. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer, laundry detergent and cleaning products, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and a hairdryer. Towels are included in the bed linen. The bed linen set costs €20/person. Laundry can be done in the utility room next to the bathroom, which also has a tumble dryer. There is also a WC downstairs. Upstairs there is a bathroom with a shower and WC. ✨ Waterfront Sauna and Shore By the shore, there is an old but renovated wood-heated sauna and a large pier. If you wish, you can also find your own reading or resting nook. The sloping plot has terraces and seating areas both in front of the house and further down. There are also places on the terrace and balcony where you can enjoy your morning coffee and take in the views. ✨Waterfront Sauna The sauna building, located almost over the sea, consists of a sauna room of approximately 9 m² and a sauna of the same size. The sauna has a new Harvia Legend 300 wood-burning stove, weighing no less than 360 kg, and the whole group can comfortably sit and enjoy the heat. The L-shaped benches are almost three metres wide. From the sauna, you can go directly outside to cool off on the terrace and pier, which has swimming steps. The shore is deep, so swimming is suitable only for those who can swim. In the sauna room, you can enjoy the beautiful views and spend the evening. There is also an extra bed. The sauna building does not have separate heating, but it is insulated. The sauna can be used year-round, but please note that the sauna has to use water carried in. In summer, water can be taken from the water tap on the side wall of the house using a hose. In winter, water is carried from inside so that the pipes do not freeze. Seawater cannot be used for throwing water on the sauna stove or for filling the water basin. ✨ What You Can Do by the Shore If you wish, you can also find your own reading or resting nook. The sloping plot has seating areas both in front of the house and further down. There are also places on the terrace and balcony where you can enjoy your morning coffee and take in the views. Guests have access to the brand-new rowing boat Roosa. You can also go stand-up paddleboarding. You can launch your own boat or kayak from the guest marina in Houtsala.
