Safiiri is a cosy and compact log cabin located just 700 metres from the centre of Äkäslompolo – you simply cannot beat this location! Safiiri is a stylish and beautiful cabin with all modern comforts, situated in the peaceful and highly regarded Peltotieva area in the heart of Äkäslompolo. It is an excellent choice for travellers without a car, as cross-country ski trails and the SkiBus stop are located right nearby. The cabin also has its own kick sled, which is perfect for getting around the village in winter. The cabin is best suited for a couple, a small family or a solo traveller. The downstairs area (40 m²) has one bedroom with a double bed, while the upstairs loft (15 m²) has two additional sleeping places. Please note that the upstairs area does not have full ceiling height. The fireplace brings warmth and an authentic Lapland atmosphere to this lovingly designed cabin. Safiiri has free WiFi, making it easy to work remotely from the cabin. The dining table can be extended with an additional leaf when more dining space is needed. For children, there is a travel cot, high chair and potty. In summer, children can enjoy their own sandbox. There is a separate ski storage room and a drying room for clothes in the yard. During the summer, guests can enjoy a separate barbecue area at the end of the boardwalk, as well as a terrace of over 30 m² equipped with a gas grill and outdoor furniture. An electric vehicle can be charged at a shared Wallbox Pulsar Plus Type 2 (11 kW) charging station with the neighbouring cabin. The charging fee is 50 €/booking.
