Velhonkulma is a new, spacious and highly functional log villa in Ylläs, Äkäslompolo, offering comfortable accommodation for larger groups. The villa is located between the ski slopes and the village. Velhonkulma comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests. Upstairs, there are five generously sized bedrooms, each with plenty of storage space for clothing. Acoustic doors and room-specific ventilation ensure peaceful and restful nights. In addition, the downstairs lounge has a 160 cm wide Murphy bed for two guests. The room can be separated from the rest of the living area with glass doors, creating a peaceful private space. There is no need to worry about bed linen or towels, as they are included in the price. The villa has a beautifully designed and well-equipped open-plan kitchen with high-quality cooking utensils and serving dishes for home chefs. The kitchen features an impressive oak dining table and tableware for 12 guests. The living room has an atmospheric fireplace and a 65-inch flat-screen TV. The west-facing terrace is equipped with a dining table and a Weber grill. Downstairs, there is a spacious entrance hall, toilet, laundry facilities and plenty of practical storage space. The luxurious bathroom leads to the sauna, which comfortably accommodates 6 people. The lounge area has a sofa group, refrigerator, stereo system and TV. The terrace provides a refreshing place to cool down between sauna sessions. The villa’s fibre-optic WiFi is also ideal for remote working. The heating system uses environmentally friendly geothermal energy. Guests also have access to a heated 60 m² garage, which includes a second washing machine, two drying cabinets, a ski maintenance stand and plenty of storage space for skis, bicycles and sports clothing. Two electric-assist fatbikes and one regular bicycle are also available for guests. Electric vehicle charging is permitted both in the garage and in the carport. The SkiBus operates to the ski slopes and between the villages of Äkäslompolo and Ylläsjärvi. The nearest bus stop is 500 m away. The illuminated cross-country ski trail can be accessed directly from the yard on skis. In summer, the same routes are perfect for cycling and hiking through the beautiful landscapes of Ylläs.
