There's a lot of its own yard outside, a lot of the beach with terraces and tables. The dark Esako lakeside sauna provides good steam and views. The large deck in front of the house also provides excellent spaces to enjoy the view, as well as a gas grill for renters to use!

In the late 1950s, Villa Matilda was a large beach house that was the home of the then leader of the wood harvest. Today, Matilda has received a new look with many renovations and ready for a new era to welcome new guests to the shore of Lake Näsijärvi! Pets are also welcome if arranged separately (pet fee 30 euros/pet, max 2 pets).

Villa Matilda is on two floors and has about 175 square meters. Upstairs is a lobby with an atmospheric fireplace and sleeping places for two (a bed and a sofa bed). There are also two bedrooms upstairs, one with a double bed and the other with four single beds and a baby bed. In addition, the bathroom is located upstairs, with a toilet, shower and electric sauna. The optimum number of guests at Villa is about 8-12, but groups of 15 guests are also very welcome. In this case, of course, it is worth taking into account the slightly limited space, even though the villa is large. However, the tableware is quite enough for 15 people! Bed linen set €25/person with bed made, €15/person without bed made. Both packages include a bath towel and a hand towel. Alternatively, you can bring your own! Possible extra hours are 20 euros/hour for both ends, if it is possible to offer these.

There are original brown wooden stairs leading downstairs. They take you to a living room with two couches and access to the deck in front of the house. The second couch is a sofa bed for two people, and the top mattresses can also be found on each sofa bed separately. There's also a screen here, so you can get a movie room in the space if you have your own projector! The adjacent space has a TV room and a dining group for eight people. The couch in this room can also be turned into a sofa bed for two. In addition, there is a fireplace in the space. The downstairs bedroom includes one double bed and one single bed. The newly renovated kitchen offers a dining table for six, as well as a set of dishes for 15 people. There is also a dishwasher. At the "back" of the villa, there is another toilet and a utility room with a washing machine and a tumble dryer. Villassa, there are also air-source heat pumps on the ground floor and upper floor.

There's a lot of yard space in front of the Villa, for example, for the little ones in the family. You turn into the courtyard immediately from a relatively busy road, so it's worth bearing that in mind when you're staying here. Of course, there's not much traffic in the evening. A large deck in front of the house offers plenty of space to admire the lake scenery, and there's also a gas grill on the deck. There is a wooden terrace on the beach with a table for six with chairs. A wood-burning lakeside sauna with a large landscape window is well protected in the wood, but offers nice views of the lake. When you leave the sauna, you come across a large hot tub along the wooden steps, which can comfortably accommodate 8 people (the hot tub is rented separately). The dock is also right next door, and the shallow sandy beach is also safe for children. A rowing boat is also available to tenants.


The store is only 1.5km away and other Kuru services are nearby. It takes approximately 45 minutes to drive to Tampere. The folder you'll find in the villa also contains practical instructions and tips on activities in the local area!

Other things to note
Next to the plot, there is a road and another building, which of course belongs to the property, but is just an empty warehouse providing protection. In addition, there are neighbours relatively close by, especially along the waterfront, and there is no direct view of most of them. No parties. Please be quiet outside after 10 pm, out of consideration for others!
