Villa Sapso – Peace, Comfort & Stunning Lakeside Views in Kainuu Villa Sapso is a spacious, well-equipped two-story villa nestled in a peaceful setting surrounded by beautiful lake scenery in Sotkamo, just a short drive from Vuokatti. Perfect for year-round relaxation, the villa features a large private yard, your own sandy beach, an electric sauna, and a traditional wood-heated lakeside sauna with changing and lounge areas available in summer. The fully equipped kitchen includes an electric oven and a charming wood-burning oven—the heart of the home. The cozy living room features a fireplace, and an air-source heat pump cools the villa in summer and warms it during winter. Accommodation includes two sleeping areas with double beds: one bedroom downstairs and a spacious loft upstairs with two double beds and a sofa bed. The loft opens directly onto a large balcony, ideal for dining with your whole group while surrounded by nature. Additional amenities include a separate toilet, bathroom, a fire pit by the beach, rowing boat, and fishing gear available for guest use during summer. The shallow, sandy beach is child-friendly, making it perfect for families. The location offers a perfect balance of tranquility and convenience—only about a 10-minute drive to Sotkamo and 15 minutes to Vuokatti’s activities and services. "Villa Sapso is a wonderful place with spectacular views of the lake. It is situated on a large, well kept property with no neighbors in view. The garden offers large areas with lawn, a private beach, a rowing boat and a sauna. The house is very spacious, well equipped and features several outside sitting areas, one for each time of the day. The balcony with view of the lake and garden is simply terrific: our favorite place! Eerik and his co-host Taina are extremely friendly and helpful and tend to the needs of their guests in minimal time. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Villa Sapso and can strongly recommend the place to everybody who is fond of nature and loneliness! "
